Humidity Exposure Test
Scope The objective of this standard is to maintain uniform test procedure to evaluate the resistance of the specimen to humidity
Reference ASTM D7444 - 11
Test Procedure
  • Fix the test specimen on test fixture, so that the degrees of freedom of the assembly are firmly constrained.
  • The specimen should be kept in Humidity chamber.
  • Set to a temperature of 40 ±2°C and a relative humidity of 93 ± 2%
  • The specimen is kept at this condition for 168hrs.

Evaluation After the test the test specimen should undergo stacking test as per WATER/GDC/T005.
Check for physical deterioration of the CLD.
Level of Acceptance / Success Criteria Parts should undergo WATER/GDC/T004 & WATER/GDC/T005 and to be evaluated.
All Test specimens should pass the test.
